The Teesside Urology Research Alliance (TURA) began with a simple vision, to create a collaborative space where clinicians, trainees, and researchers could come together to advance urological care through high-quality research.

Rooted in the values of Collaboration, Advancement, Research, and Education (CARE), these principles continue to shape and steer the team’s direction.

What began as a small initiative has grown into a supportive group focused on producing practical clinical projects, clear presentations, and useful evidence to inform everyday urological care. The team continues to work together in a straightforward, collaborative way, creating opportunities for learning and contributing steadily to the local medical community.
